James Victor Lucas, Sr.

James V. Lucas, Sr., 72, of Hebron, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019. He was born in Silver Grove, Kentucky on August 21, 1947 to the late Charles Otis and Irene Stamper-Lucas.

Besides his parents James was preceded in death three sisters, Bonnie Lucas, Geraldine Thomas and Patty Colton and one brother, Michael Lucas.

James is survived by his beloved children Michelle Schuster and James V. Lucas, Jr.; two grandchildren, Mallory Schuster and James "Trey" V. Lucas; six sisters, Nancy Thompson, Charlotte Dickson, Betty Botkin, Marguaritte Wilhoite, Mary Smith and Janice Crabtree; five brothers, Ronnie Lucas, David Lucas, Ricky Lucas, Tommy Lucas and Bobby Joe Lucas as well as a host of other family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Ky. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, Ky. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
