James Albert Shell 12/27/28 – 6/04/2020
Jim was loved by all that knew him and loved his job and fellow co-workers at Sterling Materials .
He was awarded the distinctive honor of Miner of The Year in 2018. Jim had his private pilots license from 1973 to 2020 and loved to fly with his son
Jimmy . Jim loved to garden and shared the vegetables that he raised with everyone. He instilled a strong work ethic in his four children and eleven
grand children . Jim was a deacon of the Decoursey Baptist Church and now attended the Victory Baptist Church .
He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy , father Lewis ,mother Alma , brothers Harvey , Curtis , Boyd and sister Irene .
Left to cherish his memory is his brother Kenneth Shell (Sally ) , three sons Jimmy (Sue ) ,Gerald ( Vicki ) , Kenneth ( Shirley ) and daughter Pamela (C. L.)
Eleven grandchildren , thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren .
Visitation will be Tuesday 6/9/20 5 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Erlanger , Ky . Funeral Wednesday 10 am at Newcomer Funeral Home Erlanger , Ky. Burial service will be at the Highland Cemetery , Fort Wright , Kentucky 11:30 am
