James Richard "Rick" Stephens

James "Rick" Richard Stephens, age 75, of Dry Ridge, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on June 29, 1948 to Lloyd and Aline Stephens (nee Shields). Rick was a graduate of Boone County High School and worked many years for American Airlines as a reservation specialist. He enjoyed poker, watching sports, playing softball, and farming.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Stephens, mother, Aline Stephens, and sister, Faye Stephens. Rick is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Anna Stephens (nee Beckner); son, Chris Stephens, step-son, Ed (Sharon) Clemons, step-daughter, Cydne Orso, step-son, Adam (Norma) O'Flaherty, step-daughter, Phyllis (Billy) Canady, brother, Larry Stephens, brother, Tommy Stephens, grandchildren, Austin, Carter and 9 other grandchildren, 7.5 great-grandchildren (one on the way); and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will beheld Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Northern Kentucky, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Big Bone Baptist Church Cemetery.
