James Patrick Timon Jr. age 92, of Elsmere, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on August 2, 1929 to James Patrick Timon Sr. and Ruth C. Timon (nee Thelen).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Timon, Father, James Patrick Timon, Sr., Mother, Ruth C. Timon, Brother, William Timon, Sister, Mary Cook and Grandson, Owen Timon. James is survived by his wife, Rose Bussman (nee Lemker); Son, James Patrick (Pamela) Timon, III, Son, Michael Joseph Timon, Son, Kelly John Timon, Son, Bryan David (Sharon) Timon, Brother, Robert "Bob" (Jeri) Timon, Grandson, J. Patrick (Emily) Timon IV, Granddaughter, Jessica Timon-French, Granddaughter, Abby Lynn Timon, Grandson, Kelly John Timon, Grandson, Zach Timon, Granddaughter, Lauren Timon, Grandson, Ethan Timon; Granddaughter, Chrissy (Jeremy) Robinson; Great-Grandchildren, Parker Robinson, Liam Timon, Nathan Patrick Timon and Allison French; and a host of other family members and friends.
Jim served in the Army during the Korean War as an Aviation Mechanic, he was a Purple Heart recipient. He was an active volunteer to many organizations over the years, up until his passing.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mother of God Memorial Fund, 119 W. 6th St. Covington, KY 41911. Mass will be 12:05 pm Thursday, June 16, 2022 with a visitation from 11:00 am - 12:05 pm at Mother of God Catholic Church, 119 W. 6th St. Covington, KY 41011. Interment and Military Honors will immediately follow at Kentucky Veteran Cemetery North, Williamstown, Kentucky.
