Turner, James W. age 77, of Forest Park, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was born in Wedowee, Alabama on October 29, 1937 to Charlie P. and Virginia Turner (nee Holloway).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie P. Turner and Virginia Turner; daughter, Angela A. Turner. James is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Soncha Turner (nee Lee); children, James A. Turner, Charlene L. Gipson, Dante C. West, Ossie K. West and Jacqueline S. West; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; siblings, Marvin Turner, Maeola Dale and Queen (David) Ethel; and a host of other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until Services at 11 AM Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
