Denney, Jane A. age 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 4, 1946 to the late Aloysius Andrew and Marie Frances Gangloff (nee Muething).
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Gangloff, Bob Gangloff, Mary Ellen Smith, Albert Gangloff, and Annette Mohrhaus. Jane is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Ronald Denney; daughters, Sherrie (Kevin) Snead, Kim (Bryan) Edens, Marlena (Joe) Schnatz, and Amie Wysinger; son, Rod Denney; grandchild, Brandon (Heather) Stern; sisters, Alice (Tom) Fischbach and Betty (Art) Roy; Sister-In-Law, Eileen Gangloff; best friend, Judy Jennison; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Jane was proud of her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked with wonderful people at LaRosa's, Spaulding and Teron Lighting , who treated her as family with love and respect. She ran a catering service and worked full-time job before the cancer. She was hard working, cared passionately for others less fortunate and loved living simple. Jane enjoyed camping, fishing, and going for drives with her husband, Ron. She was amazing cook and enjoyed family get-together's at her house. Jane loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Jane was known for her unconditional love and non-judgment to others. She was hardworking and wanted to serve the way God intended. She liked pleasing people and always took care of those around her. Her grandchildren always had a sense of peace and fun around her. We remember her comforting scent that was a reminder of "grandma."
Jane made sure her home was a home. It was a cabin-like with a wood stove in the family room. It was small but managed to fit the entire family in holidays and get-together's. Her faith in God showed through the way she lived her life. Jane knew God was taking care of her throughout her past struggles and with the cancer. She attended church at St. Al's and was very fond of the priests and staff there. Jane often said, "I'm leaving it up to God" at times of uncertainty. Her love for helping and showing compassion to others was obvious that God was working through her. This is how Jane (mom) wanted to live.
