Janet L. Tankersley, age 76, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Janet was born February 21, 1943 in Blue Sulphur Springs, West Virginia to the late, Ronald Beard and Mary Helen (Decatur) Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles R. Bennett.
Janet is survived by her two daughters, Debra Sue (Christopher R.) Hoeper and Teresa Ann (Kenneth E., II) King; three grandchildren, Justin A. Rose, Tiffany N. Smith, Sean C. Hoeper; sister, Carolyn J. (Willis) Humphreys; brother, Ronnie D. Bennett; and long-time friend, Dean Mink.
The family invites family and friends to a graveside visitation and viewing starting at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 9, 2019 as Rest Haven Memorial Park, 10209 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241. A graveside service will begin at 11:30AM. The family invites all who attend to dress in red attire (if you wish), as this was Janet's favorite color.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Blue Ash, or that you gift them with houseplants instead of cut flowers.
