Janet Walker

Janet Walker was born October 12, 1950. She went home to live with the Lord on June 11, 2014. She was tired of all her pain, so the Lord took her home.

She enjoyed shopping, watching movies, going to the movies, and going out to eat. She loved everyone dearly and was a sweet lady with a good heart. Janet is not suffering anymore.

Janet went to Cincinnati Public School, and graduated from Hughes High School. Directly following graduation, she began working at Good Samaritan Hospital. She worked at the hospital for 37 years until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by Jimmy Walker, Tiffany Shera Manning (daughter), Charles Britten, Michael Sutherlin Walker, Odessa Young, and Norma Sheperd. Janet leaves to cherish one daughter, Tasha Lenise Walker (Tazar Carter); two sons, Travis Charles Britten Sr. (Jeanette Harris) and Lawrence Britten; mother, Patsy Walker; three brothers, Dewayne Walker, Cornell Walker (Jeanette Hill Walker), and Abron Walker (Liz Dobbins); three sisters, Gwen Walker, Sheila "Tina" Johnson, and Barbara Walker; two very special friends, Ronita Robinson and Calvin Johnson; five grandchildren, Trammel Walker, Tichina Walker, Donnisha Manning, Jeniyah Britten, and Travis Britten Jr.; one special niece, Jasmine Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties and friends. Janet was dearly loved, and will be missed by all those who knew her.
