Jason M. Haines, age 44, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 28, 1976 to Walter L. Haines and Beverly A. Pieper (nee Myers).
Jason was a Public Works of Colerain Township employee for 18 years. He was a proud father to his two children, and was active in supporting them in every way he could. Jason enjoyed laying out at the pool, playing golf, and hanging out with family and friends. Jason will be remembered for his great personality, sense of humor and sarcasm. Jason was always a self-less person, and as his last act of kindness he was able to help many people via organ donation.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert "Bob" D. Pieper.
Jason is survived by his beloved son, Kory R. Haines, and daughter, Korrin R. Haines; mother, Beverly A. Pieper; father, Walter L. Haines; brother, Jeffrey (Monika) Haines; life partner, Jenny Berkemeier; step-sisters, Michelle (John) Blackwell, Melinda Pieper, and Misty (Joey) Commarata; 9 nieces and nephews; 3 great nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
Family and friends may gather on Monday, August 31, 2020 at Colerain Public Works, 4160 Springdale Road, Colerain Township, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. You may park at the Colerain Community Center, 4300 Springdale Road, and a shuttle will be available for transport. Funeral services will be held following the gathering at the Colerain Public Works building at 3:00 PM.
