Jeanann Caecilia Heithaus

Heithaus, Jeanann Caecilia age 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio peacefully went home to Heaven on Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 16, 1941 to Leo and Mary Heithaus. On July 1, 1961 she married Walter C. Smith and he preceded her in death on June 18, 1996. Jeanann will be remembered by her family and friends, as fun loving and the life of the party.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her five siblings, Mary Roether, Loretta Roark, Rita Mae Burke, Rosemarie Halstead, and Leo "Pete" Heithaus. Jeanann will be forever missed by her beloved children, Tammy (Scott Alvin) Smith, Walter (Laren) Smith Jr., Mary (Randy) Juenke, and Sonya (Mike Baird) Smith; her eleven grandchildren, Kira (Ed) Martin, Scotty (Sharon) Abrams, Lacey Smith, Brandon Smith, Michael Smith, Tyler Juenke, Paul (Desiree) Smith, Justin Smith, Austin Smith, Hannah Juenke, Jordan Goins; eight great-grandchildren, Kyler, Memphis, Nycolas, Kayden, Jaycob, Loki, Lilyanna, and Adalynn; five brothers and sisters, Jerome "J" (Joyce) Heithaus, Barbara (Kurt) Mikat, Dotty Hodson, Ann Jones, and Douglas Hodson; her sister-in-law, Mel Heithaus; Aunt Jeanie is survived by many nieces and nephews, who she held very close to her heart; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 30, 2016 with a visitation from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Western Hills Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at St. Lawrence Church, 3680 Warsaw Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45205.
