Jeanine A Hodge, (nee Armstrong) age 78, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 10, 1944 to Jack and Jeanne Armstrong (nee Imhoff).
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jeanine is the mother of Kelly (Kim) Singleton and Brandi (Richard) Hisle. She has three grandchildren; Kayla, Samantha (John) and Aaron (Courtney) and 13 great grandchildren; Jaylyn, Ashlyn, Madilyn, Loralyn, Brooklyn, Gracelyn, Jay Jay, Tesla, Nora, Everlee, Reagan, Ryan and Riley.
She is survived by her brother, Jeffrey (Janice) Armstrong, and her nephews, Jon and Jesse.
The self proclaimed "Dancing Queen", Jeanine LOVED to dance. From the early days at Western Hill High School Sock Hops to mega hours spent at the Hawaiian Gardens, Lucy's in the Skye, Dante's and various other dance parties with her life long school friends. ABBA's Dancing Queen was her theme song and ring tone.
Besides dancing, she loved camping and people watching. She was always up for a weekend away around the fire whether it was in a tent or a house on wheels.
Above all, she enjoyed being with her family. Spending time with her three grandchildren and most recently, 13 great grand children always brought joy to her and put a lasting smile on her face.
Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211) from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. No services will be scheduled.
