The Obituary
Jeffrey C. Caldwell Jr., was born on August 19th, 1969 to Jeffrey Caldwell and Danella Caldwell. He departed this life on October 30th, 2012.
Jeffrey "Jay" accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Rose Chapel. Jay received his education at Burton School, Inglewood, California Middle School and then Woodward High School.
"Jay" was formally married to Tracey Hyde. Jay never met a stranger. He enjoyed sports. As entrepreneur Jay co-founded Royal Care Transportation along with Juan Sims, Monica and Kurt Billups. Royal Care operated a non-emergency medical transportation service was liquidated by the founding members in December 2007. Jay's impeccable work ethic and his commitment to high quality service, bolstered Royal Care's contract value from one nursing home contract to having agreements with over thirty five nursing homes, doctor's offices, senior living and medical facilities combined. As a certified and licensed medical transport service technician, Jeffrey established a reputation in the industry as a pleasant, enthusiastic and professional medical transport care giver.
Subsequent to that Jay owned a "Coverall Cleaning Concepts" franchise with his wife Tracy Hyde-Caldwell and his stepson Lamont Gooch. Through this venture Jay further expanded and strengthened his businesses relationships within the community.
Before his transition Jay worked in production for Global Sports Inc. (GSI) where he will be remembered as a valuable asset to their team.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Danella; his son, Jeffrey Caldwell III; two brothers, Amantu Caldwell and Jeffrey Blythe; sisters, Patricia A. Blythe (David), Terryia, and Jessica Blythe; aunts, Barbara Dawson, Linda Walters, Paulette Anderson and Betty Hawkins; uncles, Amantu Billah, Uncle John Hawkins and Gerald Dawson; special cousin/sister, Antoinette Caldwell (Brian) and a host of other relatives and many friends. Mariah was like a daughter. A special thanks to his close dear "friends".
Jeffrey will be dearly missed.
