Jeffrey Alan Calahan, age 71, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. He was born on February 16,1953, in Cincinnati to John Ernest and Alice D. Calahan (nee Wilson).

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father John Ernest Calahan; his mother, Alice D. Calahan; his son, Cody Calahan; and his siblings, Michael, Patrick, and Jeannie Calahan. He is survived by his daughters Kassie Calahan and Melissa Sala; his siblings Melissa Boggess, Kerry Calahan, Judith Metz, and Colleen Bryant; along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A talented artist and musician, Jeffrey had a particular passion for playing the drums. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, and nature.  Jeff had a very special and loving relationship with his daughter Kassie. He always held her close to his heart. Jeff had a unique bond with his siblings, often sharing his comedic talents with his colorful storytelling and celebrity imitations. He held a deep pride in his Irish heritage.

In his later years, Jeffrey found strength as he conquered personal challenges, through embarking on a journey toward inner peace and nurturing his relationship with God. Jeffrey never complained about his suffering. He never asked to be healed, he only asked for divine guidance on his journey and for those whom he held close . Jeffrey truly believed "to thine own self be true."
