Jerelene Scott

Jerelene Davis was born May 25, 1937 to KC. and Mabel (Jones) Davis who both preceded her in death in Seney, Georgia. Jerelene departed this life on Thursday April 5, 2012.

Jerelene attended school in the Polk County Public School district. Jerelene worked for the Cincinnati Public School system for over 30 years. She worked for 20 years at the Cincinnati Convention Center. She worked for 10 years at the Kroger building doing janitorial Services. She also worked with her sister-in-law Ernestine Allen (deceased) at Ernie's Restaurant and Catering Services.

Jerelene accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Seney, Georgia. After relocating to Cincinnati, Ohio Jerelene joined Jerriel Baptist Church. She later joined Tryed Stone Missionary Baptist Church and later joined Bethlehem Church.

She married Samuel Marshall Allen (deceased). To this union three children were born; Juliet Zakiyyah, Anthony Eugene (deceased) and Ronnie Duane Allen. She later married Joenathan Scott (deceased). To this union two children were born Joenetta and Donald Lamar (deceased) Scott.

Jerelene was preceded in death by her siblings, Junior and Barbra Jean Davis; her sons, Anthony Allen and Donald Lamar Scott (Natsye); step sons, Nathaniel, Henry Scott (Debbie) Joe Jr., and Otis Scott.

Jerelene leaves to cherish her memories her daughters Juliet Zakiyyah, Joenetta Scott; son Ronnie Duane Allen (Shelia); step- daughters, Lula B. Johnson, Annie K. Buggs, Mary Ballard; step- sons, Timothy Ray Allen, Ray (Brenda) and James Scott and one foster daughter Tommie Mae Ramsey. Two aunts Catherine Whatley and Irene (Joe) Hill A special daughter- in-law Melanie Allen and a special niece Cynthia Davis. 15 grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren (2 on the way). A host of, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
