MINKS, Jerome R. "Jerry" age 80, of Reading, Ohio lost his battle with dementia on Sunday, May 28, 2017. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 22, 1937 to Lorraine Ramey (nee Fischer).
Jerry served his country for 7 ½ years in the Air Force and deployed during the construction of the Berlin Wall.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Ramey; wife, Donna Minks; sister, Diane Haas. Jerry is survived by his son, Jeffrey (Lisa) Minks; grandsons, Austin, Garrett; brothers, Paul Ramey, Mark (Jane) Ramey, Chris Ramey; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Jerry, contributions may be made to Save the Animal Foundation, 4011 Red Bank Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227.
Funeral Ceremony will be at 11:00 am Friday, June 2, 2017 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
