Jerry Heidemann

Jerry Heidemann, age 82, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024, peacefully at home with Marge at his side. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 10, 1942 to John and Catherine Heidemann (nee Frerick). 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Bob (late Marilyn), John (late Joan), Don (late Wanda) and Tom (Joan) Heidemann.

Jerry is the beloved husband of Marge Heidemann (nee Mollner) for 60 years.

He is the father of Jennie (Dave) Caldwell, Jay (Kerri) Heidemann, Jeff (Sarah) Heidemann, and Joe (Mary) Heidemann. Jerry is the grandfather of Emily (Steven) Rheaume, Michael Caldwell, Jayson (Emma), Brady, Hallie and Kylee Heidemann, Rhiannon (Nathan Chiles) Zito, and Andrew, Abby and Adam Heidemann. He is the great grandfather of William and Margaret Rheaume. Jerry is survived by his sister, Marian (Jim) Dulle. Jerry is the uncle of many cherished nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jerry's life was centered around family and he made it known that everyone held a special place in his heart. His friends too will always remember the warmth and enthusiasm of his presence. He endlessly volunteered his time to numerous school and parish activities as well as the Knights of Columbus and many community organizations including the Catholic Order of Foresters. Jerry was devoted to giving of himself to others and will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2024 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211). Knights of Columbus prayer service will begin about 7:30 PM.

Funeral Mass is Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 10 AM, in St Bernard of Clairvaux Church, Taylor's Creek. 

Burial, with Military Honors will follow at New St Joseph Cemetery.
