Jerry Schmitz, age 68, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, November 29, 2019. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 14, 1951 to George M. and Cecilia A. Schmitz (nee Dirr).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jerry is survived by his beloved spouse of 25 years, Molly Schmitz (nee Ambrosius); daughters, Heather (Jerald) Whitton, Jeannie (Jamie) Tharrington, Katie (Jeremy) Florimonte, and Janice (Tony) Meeks; 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 9 siblings, George Schmitz, Marilyn Huth, Tom (Mary Sue) Schmitz, Mary Frances (Tom) Link, Joe (Mary Beth) Schmitz, Greg (Linda) Schmitz, Bob (Bobbi) Schmitz, David (Connie) Schmitz, and Steve (Julie) Schmitz; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Jerry, contributions may be made to Memorial Contributions to American Cancer Society.
Family and friends may gather from 10:00 to 11:00AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Funeral services will be begin at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
