Joann Barnett

Barnett, Joann, age 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on November 11, 2023. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 6, 1938 to the late Winnie Mae Peak and Joseph Coster

Joann is survived by her son, Ronald Whitson, daughter, Sonya (Jonathan) Goines, daughter, Billie (Dwight) Staples, son, Mark (Erica) Whitson, son John (Kimberly) Whitson, son, Michael Whitson, daughter, Vicky Whitson, son, Anthony (Kellie) Whitson, daughter, Donna (Ronnie) Goss, son, Louis Whitson, daughter, Lynne (Oralen) Buckner; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Louis Barnett.

Joann through the years had many foster children, she loved to play the lottery, playing it everyday. She had ten children, and raised five grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Sunday November 19, 2023 at 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45211
