JoAnn Ashcraft Sharp "Jodi", of Crestview Hills, passed away on November 2, 2020. Jodi was born in Covington, KY on October 31, 1936 to Howard and Mary Ashcraft. She had one sister, Pauline. They all proceed her in death.
Jodi started writing to Charlie Sharp while he was in Korea when she was seventeen. When he returned home they dated and were married July 1, 1955. They have two children, Jerry (Cathy) Sharp from Tampa, Florida, and Jolene (Bill) Kramer of Florence, Kentucky. They have three grandchildren, John, Graham, and Jessica; and one great-grandson, Jax.
Jodi was a 1955 graduate of Simon Kenton High School, a member of the old Decoursey Baptist Church, and a former charter member of The Ladies Auxiliary of the Covington Moose Lodge 1469. She was a stay at home mom until the children were almost grown and later retired form Schenley Distilleries.
Jodi first and foremost was a wife and mother. She loved her family and she loved bingo.
The family will hold private services at a later date.
