Joe Dixon

Gordon Joseph Dixon, aged 74, of Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 4,1949, to the late Gordon Alvis and Rita Dixon (nee McWeeny).

Joe was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Pamela J Dixon (nee Drapp); his daughter Kelly Dixon; sons Chris (Tessa) Dixon and Greg Dixon; cherished grandchildren Baylie Dixon and Jack Dixon; as well as his sister Sheila Dixon-Young. He also leaves behind a host of other dear family members and friends.

In his lifetime, Joe found joy in working on cars, fishing, tending to his vegetable garden, and feeding the deer. Above all else, he treasured moments spent with his beloved family.

Contributions in memory of Joe may be made to the American Cancer Society. A Funeral Ceremony to honor Joe's life will take place at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, with visitation starting at 12:00 pm until the service begins. The ceremony will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
