Joe Rains, age 84, of Covington, Kentucky passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022. He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on January 17, 1938 to Howard and Bessie Rains (Turner).
He was preceded in death by his Father, Howard Rains, Mother, Bessie Rains.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mildred Rains (Johnson); son, Keith (Donna) Rains; daughter, Donna (Wayne) Davidson; grandchildren, Cody Cooper, Cory Cooper, Cameron Rains, Caiden Rains, Bella Rains; sisters, Judy (John) Grout, Betty (Fred) Surkamp, Martha (Ray) Yeary; friend, Bill Cooper; and a host of other family members and friends including his friends at the gym.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Military Honors will be presented at 4:30 pm.
