Obituary
Joe Weas, age 62 of Cincinnati passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 12:10 PM at the VA Medical Center in Cincinnati. He was born in Alton, Illinois on August 27, 1949 the son of Maurice Bennett and Eula Mae (Stage) Weas. Joe was United States Marine Corps Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict from May 2, 1968 until August 14, 1981. He was a retired tank mechanic and a firearms repairman.
He is survived by a sister, Susan Stanke from Cochiti Lake, New Mexico; and two brothers, Tom Weas and his wife Janet of Cincinnati, and Edward Weas and his wife Cindy of Hanover, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be held at the Dayton National Cemetery, 400 W 3rd Street, Dayton, Ohio 45428 on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 11:00 AM. In memory of Joe, his family requests donations to be directed to the VA Fort Thomas Community Living Center, 1000 S. Fort Thomas Avenue, Fort Thomas, Kentucky, 41075.
