Joel Layton Girod, newborn, of Aurora, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016. He was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to Amy Vastine and Jeremy Girod.
Joel is survived by his parents, Amy Vastine and Jeremy Girod; his sister, Natalie Girod; grandparents, Eugenia Harness, Michael Spaulding, and Mona Lisa Girod; aunt, Jennifer Farrell; four uncles, Donald, Trent, Michael, and Bocephus; cousin, Brandy Harris; and a host of other family members and friends.
Memorial service will be held at the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 7037 Wilmington Pike US 350, Aurora, Indiana 47001 on, Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to Joel's family in c/o, Newcomer Funeral Home, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
