Joel Whitaker Sr.
June 5, 1935 — October 18, 2013
WHITAKER Sr., Joel age 78, of Cincinnati, passed away peacefully Friday October 18, 2013 at Burlington House.He was born June 5, 1935 in Somerset , Kentucky, the son of John and Allie (Mayfield) Whitaker. On September 2, 2012 he married Judy A.Whitaker, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Joel is preceded in death by his parents John and Allie Whitaker; his siblings Bonnie Vaughn, Glenn V. Whitaker, Paul Whitaker, Ned Whitaker, Don Whitaker, and Ray Whitaker. Joel is survived by his wife, Judy; his sons, Wade and his wife Stephanie Whitaker of Cleves, Ohio, Joel and his wife Melissa Whitaker Jr. of Monroe, Ohio, Jason and his wife Heidi Whitaker of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his daughter, Gayle L. Whitaker of Cincinnati, Ohio; Joel's grandchildren Shelby, Georgia, and Ginny Gayle.
Joel was a U.S. Army Veteran and served his time in Germany, where he was a truck driver.
He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him!
