John Robert Appelman

John Robert Appelman, aged 96, cherished resident of Lakeside Park, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. He was born on April 4, 1928, in Augusta, Kentucky to the loving care of Fredrick and Leota Appelman. John found joy and fulfillment in his passion for truck driving and had a deep appreciation for heavy equipment. An enthusiastic reader, he found solace and delight within the pages of books.

John was reunited in eternal peace with his dear father Fredrick Appelman, caring mother Leotta Appelman, and beloved daughter Terri Byrd. He leaves behind his cherished children Debbie Kelly, Rick Appelman, Randy Appelman, Cindy Fry, Scott Appelman, Kelly Webster, Kris Wigger; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as a circle of other adoring family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from 10:30 to 11:30 am with a prayer service at 11:30 at St. John's Cemetery Chapel, 1 St. John's Road, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
