Carboy, John Jr., age 74 Fairfield Township passed away on Tues. Sept. 10, 2019. He was born on Oct 21, 1944 in Newark, N.J. to Madeline and John Carboy Sr. John served as a United States Marine 1966, loved racing cars and motorcycles, had a leading role with the design of the Veterans Memorial in Fairfield Township, long time member of a golf group at Walden Ponds Golf Course, involved with the Walden Ponds community and built many friendships, loved to play and coach golf, enjoyed coaching his son through his golf career and spending hours together in preparing the race car for competition, enjoyed teaching his daughter piano and mentoring her in business, loved spending time with his grandson at the race track and helping with school projects, enjoyed taking his granddaughter shopping, gymnastic meets, or whatever she had in mind.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Karin Carboy, loving mother and father Madeline and John Carboy Sr., Father-in law John P. Failla, loving sister Alice, brother-in-law Lew Richards, nephew Lewis Richards.
John is survived by his beloved children, Lisa (Joe) Kuethe and Bill Carboy, Mother-in law Maria Failla, grandchildren Natalie and Lance Carboy, sister Elaine (Bob) Richards Ammend, brother Gerald (Diane) Carboy, brother-in-law Paul Failla, niece Dawn (Gus) Kougias, Allison (Kevin) Pollison, Valerie Richards, Anna Failla, Lauren Carboy, nephew Chris, Shawn, and Ryan (Nadia) Carboy.
Memorial gathering held on Thurs. Sept. 19, 2019 from 11-1, Weil Kahn Funeral Home 8350 Cornell Rd. Cincinnati Oh 45249. Memorial Service 1:00, Committal service Gate of Heaven, 11000 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio.
