John R. Harris

John Robert Harris was born August 21st, 1957 in Montgomery County Ohio to the late Mary Elizabeth Harris and John Kelly. Rob was the oldest of 2 boys.

He departed this life July 14th, 2021.

Rob worked more than 20 years at Sawbrook Steel Castings Co. as a chipper and grinder. He had strong faith and spirituality that often lead to deep conversation with family and friends. Annett says, "He was my backbone". He loved to cook, chicken being his favorite, and he loved music. He would also watch cowboy movies all day if a marathon was on. Known for his generosity he would give you the shirt off his back. He also had a knack for being a jokester and never met a stranger.

Rob leaves to cherish his memory Annett Harris his life partner, best friend and wife, his son Charles Harris, granddaughter Lyla Harris and brother Larry Harris, as well as a host of step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 4:00pm - 5:00pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
