Herdt, John age 95, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. He was born in Schondorf, Romania on December 17, 1923 to Nicholas and Barbara Herdt (nee Klep). On November 12, 1949 he married Eva Waldeck
He was preceded in death by his parents; John is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Eva Herdt; his daughter, Heidi (Ed) Soloria; his granddaughters, Danielle (Nick) Cox and Azure Embry; his great-grandchildren, Tea and Diezel Cox; his sister, Elizabeth Taylor; other family members and friends.
In loving memory of John, contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Ohio Foundation, 7625 Camargo Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45243. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. Entombment will be held at St. Joseph Old Cemetery Mausoleum.
