Hingsbergen, John Edward age 67, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on April 6, 1950 to Ermin and Mary Hingsbergen (nee Meeks).
Preceded in death by his parents; John is survived by the mother of his children, Cheri Lawson; his daughter, Clare Hingsbergen; his son, Jay Hingsbergen; his sisters, Emma (Nick) Lucas and Marian (Pat) Gall; his brother, Stephen (Cheryl) Proctor; and a host of other family members and friends.
John began his lifelong career in broadcasting at WMOH-AM in Hamilton and went on to hold positions at various stations including: Program Director at WMUB-FM in Oxford, Ohio from 2000-2009; News and Public Affairs Director at West Virginia Public Broadcasting; and most recently Content Manager at WEKU-FM in Richmond, Kentucky.

He served briefly as a Roman Catholic Priest for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm at Newcomer West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
