John Paul Martin, age 45, of South Lebanon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 13, 1974 to Paul G. and Barbara Martin (nee Nold).
John grew up in Sharonville and graduated from Princeton High School in 1992, and then went on to graduate from Sinclair College where he majored in Automotive Technologies. John was a regular participant in the 4th of July Parade in Sharonville, where he was known to ride his own personal, self-maintained, riding lawn mower.
John was an avid motorcycle and auto enthusiast. He raced Pro-Fuel Harley Davidson bikes and would race cars at the drag strip. He enjoyed going to Indy to watch the NHRA Nationals, and had the chance to meet several of his favorite drivers.
He was an amateur cook who loved to experiment with new foods, and would spend time with his youngest son, Eli making new creations. He enjoyed grilling, and spending his time in his garage or around his fire pit in the evenings. John enjoyed fishing with his father and sons, and was always there to assist his family when it came to fixing their automobile issues.
John was a fan of the band Jackyl, and had the opportunity to see them live multiple times. He enjoyed watching Sprint cars down at the Lawrenceburg Speedway.
John will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that were lucky enough to meet his acquaintance.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
John is survived by his parents, Paul G. and Barbara Martin; sons, Corey Paul (Phyllicia) Nickoson, Austin (Jessica) Michael Martin, and Eli Martin; grandchildren, Emmett Martin, Kayden Nickoson, Hazel Nickoson; brother, Eddie (Julie) Martin; nephews, Eddie Martin, Jr., and Lake Martin; nieces, Lorna Martin and Maria Martin; partner, Michelle Seebohm; and a host of other family members and friends.
