John W. Mcentire

McEntire, John age 87, of Hebron, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. He was born in Sherburne, New York on August 25, 1935 to Donald and Katherine McEntire (nee Rockwell).

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Brett McEntire, sister, Margaret "Peggy" Putnam and brother, Richard McEntire. John is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Betty McEntire (nee Delph); children, Tia (John) Nehus, Talauna Pritchard, Crissy (Ron) Beavers, Robert McEntire, Bart McEntire and John McEntire; brother, Don (Nancy) McEntire; sister, Sharon (the late David) Pavey; brother-in-law, Larry Putnam; sister-in-law, Jo McEntire; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

John was an avid NASCAR fan. He was also an Army veteran. John enjoyed spending his time doing word searches and with his friends and family.

In loving memory of John, contributions may be made to Belleview Bottoms Cemetery at 4839 Belleview Road, Petersburg, KY 41080. A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 at 3:00pm and a Celebration of Life will be 3:30 pm with a reception to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions, 4350 Dixie Hwy. Erlanger, KY 41018.
