John Upshaw Jr.

The late John Upshaw Jr. was born on April 21st, 1927 in Montgomery, Alabama to the blessed union of the late Bettie and John Upshaw Sr.

He departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 9th, 2011 at his home. Seven brothers and 2 sisters preceded him in death.

John was educated in the Alabama Public School System. He moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and joined in Holy matrimony to Betty Fail Upshaw. John was employed with Miami Valley of International Trucking Company before his retirement.

John was a member of Bible Way Church of God in Christ and Evergreen Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Betty Upshaw; 2 daughters, Sharon, Shelly and Carolyn; six sons David, James, Larry, Tommy and Kevin and Clarence who both preceded him in death, grandchildren; great-grandchildren and relatives and friends.
