Johnnie Scott

Johnnie Lee Scott was the son of the late Verna Mae and Frank Scott Sr. He was born on February 1, 1942 in Newbern, Alabama. He departed this life on June 1, 2014 at 6:17 a.m. in Cincinnati, Ohio. He wed Martha Scott on December 21st, 1963. He confessed Christ at Macedonia Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Johnnie L. Scott joined the Masons between the years of 1992-1995 where he then became a Shriner. He continued to work until his strength did not allow him to. He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Scott III; two sisters, Clara M. Scott Green and Cora Scott; niece, Taneca Scott; and nephew Markeice Quarles.

He leaves to cherish memories his wife, Martha Scott of Cincinnati, Ohio; six children, Lena Scott of Alabama, Brenda Roberts (Ulis), Lillie M. Cohn (Anthony), Johnny Scott Jr. (LaMarsha), Mark Scott (Angela) and Veronica L. McCloud all of Cincinnati; seven brothers, Sylvestor Scott (Brenda) of Hazelwood, Missouri, James Scott Sr. (Rhinnie) and Bobby Scott (Fannie), all of Newbern, Alabama, Vernon Scott Sr., M.D. (Lou) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Joseph Scott (Janice) of Lizella, Georgia, William Scott (Angela) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dwain Scott of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Tammy Thomas of Greensboro, Alabama, Azaleen Bryant of Newbern, Alabama and Bertha and Fannie Scott of Huntington, West Virginia. Loving Grandkids: Constance Evans (Ryan), Tylan Cohn, Mahlea Cohn, Marquita Scott, Maranda Scott, Tabia Glisson, Dominique Burrell, Johnnyon Scott, Braydn McCloud. Great Grandkids: Kailli N. Evans, Ryan M. Evans Jr., Ty'Briah Collier, Bry'lah Collier, and Ge'Zyiah Norris. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
