Jorvell Dominic Swain

Jorvell D. Swain was born May 3, 1992 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Denise Swain. He departed this life very unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Herbert and Jacqueline Ventus.

Jorvell received his formal education in the Cincinnati Public School system until he graduated from Woodward Career Technical High School in 2011. Here is where he obtained, nurtured, and evolved his love for playing football. This passion would lead him to play on a collegiate level with having been offered and accepted a scholarship to play for Urbana University. He would later continue his undergraduate studies at the College of Mount Saint Joseph.

In 2014 Jorvell proposed to his high school sweetheart Sierra L. Perry, and the two of them welcomed their first child Sophia R. Swain in 2015. They're also due to welcome their second child "Jorvell D. Swain, Jr." in April 2018.

Jorvell enjoyed spending time with both his Swain and Perry families. He loved movies, comic books, and traveling. He had a beautiful infectious smile, a positive demeanor about himself, and a great work ethic, having been employed with the Kroger Company since the young age of 18 and having several promotions during his tenure.

Jorvell leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted fiancé Sierra L. Perry; their children, Sophia Swain and Jorvell Swain, Jr; mother, Denise Swain; siblings, Paris J. Swain and Jackee' S. Swain; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 10, 2018 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231 followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 pm.
