Jose Carlos Reyes

José Carlos Reyes, age 70, of Elsmere, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico, on February 8, 1954.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria de los Prodigios Reyes Nares. Carlos is survived by his beloved wife, Sharazad Morales Santamaria; his children, Kenneth Ruben Morales, Jose Carlos Reyes Legorreta, Maria del Carmen Reyes Legorreta, Cristian Sergei Reyes Legorreta, Beatriz Elizabeth Reyes Covarrubias, and Monserrat Reyes Covarrubias; his grandchildren, Frida Damaris Gonzalez Reyes, Luis Fernando Gonzalez Reyes, and Jose Elias Reyes Garibay; his siblings, Maria Esther Barrera Reyes, Lino Rangel Reyes, and Irma Elena Reyes Nares; and a host of other family members and friends.

In loving memory of Carlos, contributions may be made to the family's GoFundMe account to help defray funeral and final resting place relocation costs.

His service will be held on May 17th at the Cristo Rey Roman Catholic Church, (Spanish Mass). Located at 25 Cavalier Blvd, Florence, KY 41042. Visitation will start at 3pm and a Catholic service will be held shortly after at 4pm-5pm.
