Buchholz, Joseph Thomas age 63, of Cheviot, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 10, 1956 to Joseph Henry and Dorothy Buchholz (nee Carney).
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Walter Buchholz; his sister, Stephanie Isaack and his brothers-in-law, Mark Graman and Mike Spilman. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Sue Schwarz; his siblings, Marie Graman, Mary Spilman, Kate (Bob) Letter, and Martin (Laurie) Buchholz; his sisters-in-law, Ruth Schwarz and Catie (Glenn) Pearson; his brothers-in-law, Ron (Jenny) Schwarz and Rob Schwarz and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Joe was Jack of all trades but an ace at cooking. His cooking prowess fueled his catering business, Hickory Joes BBQ. Other passions included hunting, fishing, gardening and finding the beauty in another man's trash. He enjoyed Keno, Poker and other games of chance. Joe cherished all his dog children, family and friends. He also had an innate ability at socializing i.e. BS-ing, Oh, the stories he told!
In lieu of flowers and tears please bring a smile and your favorite "Joe" story (good, bad or ugly) to create a lasting memoir of his character.
His celebration of life - party, cause that's the way Joe would want it, will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Nathaniel Green Lodge - 6394 Wesselman Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45248.
