Joseph M. Chasteen, Sr.

Joseph Michael Chasteen, Sr. 69, of Covington, Kentucky passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home with his family at his side. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on March 11, 1951 to John W. and Golda Chasteen (nee Toomey).
He was preceded in death by his Father, John W. Chasteen, Mother, Golda Chasteen and five siblings, John Chasteen, Donna Chasteen, Shirley Chasteen, Jeanie Chasteen and Paul Chasteen.
Mr. Chasteen worked for many years as a HVAC Technician and served his country honorably in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Joseph is survived by his beloved Wife of 48 years, Linda Chasteen (nee Furman); four children Joseph "Joey" M. Chasteen, Jr., Sara B. Chasteen, Amanda R. (Stephanie Dean) Chasteen and Douglas M. Chasteen; seven grandchildren, Michael A. (Abbey) Chasteen, Brooklynn R. Chasteen, Ean M. Chasteen, Breana E. Chasteen, Luke S. Schneider, Madison L. Schneider and Mason R. Schneider; two great-grandchildren, Nirvana L. Chasteen and Aria B. Chasteen as well as a host of other extended family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.
There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, 205 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, Kentucky 41097.
In loving memory of Joseph, contributions may be made to Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth, 483 S. Loop Drive, Edgewood, Kentucky 41017
