Laake, Joseph Francis age 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 11, 2019. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 7, 1932 to Albert and Marie Laake (nee Steinhauer).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie Laake and Albert Laake; siblings, Margie Staab, Connie Kuhn, Claire McBride, Robert Laake, Gene Laake, Art Laake and Gil Laake.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Rose M. Laake (nee Kaufman); son, Joe (Theresa) Laake, grandson, Richie Laake; many nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Joseph, in lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors, American Lung Association and Queen City Hospice. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
A final viewing will take place from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Church of the Assumption 7711 Joseph Street, Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231.
