Joseph Puffert
November 14, 1930 — June 16, 2021
Puffert, Joseph age 90, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 14, 1930 to the late Joseph and Margaret Puffert (nee Forro).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 50 years, June Puffert, and his second wife of 19 years Celia "Jewel" Puffert. Joe is survived by his beloved daughter, Penny (William) Wichman; step-children, Carl (Carol) Wardrup, Shirley (Ed) Mentz, and Edna (Paul) Schaser; and a host of other family members and friends.
Joe was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting. He spent time traveling with his travel trailer to some of his favorite places in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida. He was a proud member of the Northern Kentucky Straight Shooters Association for 40 years.
In loving memory of Joe, contributions may be made to Northern Kentucky Straight Shooters Association by mail at 11019 Arcaro Lane Union, KY 41091. A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Monday, June 21, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life Memorial Trap Shoot will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 from 1pm - 5pm at Lloyd WMA, 230 Gardnersville Rd, Crittenden, KY 41030.
