Joseph Wendling, age 93, of Union, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was born in Covington, Kentucky on November 15, 1930 to Jacob and Mary (nee Moran) Wendling. Joe was a talented woodworker, who could build just about anything. He loved motorcycles and enjoyed playing the harmonica and accordion. He was a proud Navy veteran and served in the Korean War. Joe will be remembered as a jack of all trades, being the star of every show, and for touching the lives of all who met him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Wendling, father, Jacob Wendling, mother, Mary Wendling, and sister, Irma Wendling. Joe is survived by his son, Tim (Nancy) Wendling, daughter, Karen (Tom) Paolucci, son, Ken (Michelle) Wendling, grandchildren, Tom, Mike, Lauren, Jared, Tim, Steve, 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024 from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, 4350 Dixie highway, Erlanger, KY 41018. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 7301 Dixie Hwy, Florence, KY 41042 at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North following the mass.
