Joyce Ann Fisher Humphrey, 68 transitioned on from this life to be with Jesus, February 13, 2023.
Joyce was born January 28, 1955, in Harrodsburg, Ky to the late George H. Fisher I & Pauline O. Lyons Fisher. Joyce married her loving & devoted Husband Hilton in 1982. She always felt like education was very important. She graduated from Harrodsburg High School in 1973, after she attended Sullivan Business College & received her Certification in Business Secretary in 1974. Joyce worked in Logistics the majority of her life & loved it! Later Joyce returned to school to Kishwaukee Community College in Malts, Illinois & received her Associates of Science in 1996, then was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Society in 1997, then received her Bachelors of Science Management at Northern Kentucky University in 2000.
Joyce was an amazing, devoted, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, & friend to all that knew her. She was very crafty & talented! She loved making cakes, doing crafts, making jewelry, quilting & sewing. And enjoyed many other types of crafts!
Joyce accepted Christ into her life at a very early age at First Baptist Church in Harrodsburg, Ky then she completed her journey as a very active member at Christ's Chapel in Erlanger, Ky.
Joyce is survived by her husband Hilton Sr., 3 children; Hilton Jr. (Laura), LaShonna, & Jarvis. Mother, Pauline O. Fisher. 7 grandchildren; Rico II (Natori) Sidney, Jay, LaShon, Hailey, Annalise, & Eliana. 1 great-grandson; Rico III, 1 great-granddaughter; Nova Rose, 1 Aunt; Virginia Garrett, Father & Mother- in-Law; Sam & Mary Humphrey, 2 sister-in-laws; Vicky & Della. A host of nieces, nephews & cousins.
Joyce is preceded in death by her father, George H. Fisher I & her Eldest sister-in-law Helen Powell.
Joyce was a very inspirational, loving, caring, honest, genuine, & considerate person, who impacted the lives of many. She was very much loved, blessed, & highly favored. Joyce will be truly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Christ's Chapel Assembly of God, 3819 Turfway Road, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. A visitation will take place before the time of service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
