Joyce Hungler

Hungler, Joyce Carolyn age 88, of Burlington, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was born in Falmouth, Kentucky on October 24, 1934 to August Wolfe and Emma Caroline Wolfe (nee Blackburn).

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Donna Elizabeth Raney; sons, Kevin L. Hungler and Bruce Raney; granddaughter, Danielle Hungler; great-grandson, Eric Raney; and brother, Eugene Wolfe. Joyce is survived by her children, Brenda Carolyn Raney, Charles K. (Cari) Raney III, Pamela J. Kraft, Todd E. Raney, and Stephanie L. Schmitt; grandchildren, Alisa (Lloyd) Fitch, Paul (Michele) Raney, Chandra (Tobi) Hoppe, Sean M. Raney, Amber Davidson, Angela (Erik) Neuberger, Angela Hungler, Brett Handorf, Valerie Handorf, and Gabrielle Schmitt; great-grandchildren, Tori Whalen, Jaydon Whalen, Ryan Raney, Gavin Davidson, Addison Whalen, Zach Raney, Liam Heinrich, Kason Fitch, Lucas Ashton, Georgia Neuberger, and Harper Hoppe; great-great-grandchildren, Hadleigh Johnson, Roland Krebs, and Kaidon Whalen; and a host of other family members and friends.

Joyce was an avid and very talented poker player, she also enjoyed playing euchre. She was an antique collector and liked traveling especially to Florida. Joyce was quite the seamstress that made clothing for herself and her children. She was a member of the Ft. Wright Civic Club, the Park Hills Civic Club and the Northern Kentucky Poker League.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Newcomer Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. A Celebration of Life Luncheon will follow at Burlington Baptist Church from 3:00 - 5:00 pm, 3031 Washington St, Burlington, KY 41005.
