Joyce Lint, aged 77, passed away August 24, 2024. She was born in California to Lola Faye Griffith (nee Colley).
Joyce Lint possessed an extraordinary ability to connect with people, turning acquaintances into lifelong friends. Her servant’s heart touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark of kindness and compassion.
In her later years, Mom could often be found lending a hand to her neighbors or spending quality time with her grandchildren. She never hesitated to offer assistance wherever needed. As the leader of her apartment building’s carpool to the grocery store, she became beloved by her neighbors. In addition, Mom actively contributed to the monthly newsletter for her apartment building and also led a fitness class for the residents.
A decade ago, Joyce relocated to Ohio to be closer to her seven grandchildren. Previously residing in Connecticut, she worked as a dedicated medical receptionist before retiring. She was also a loyal member of Fellowship of Life Church in Cheshire Connecticut where she still had many friends, she was also a member of the Messiah Community Church, in Cincinnati.
Joyce’s passions included reading, sewing, and crocheting. She eagerly shared her skills, teaching her grandchildren to sew and bake. Additionally, she volunteered at the local homeschool co-op and served as a Sunday School teacher at her church.
Joyce Lint’s legacy lives on through her three daughters, Christina, Catherine, and Cynthia, her brother Jim Bridgman, her close friend and mother-in-law Jane Lint, and her cherished grandchildren, Brooklyn, Madelyn, Caleb, Micah, Jacob, Lilly and Emily.
