Juanita Mason-Bonner

August 1, 1933 — November 21, 2012

Juanita Mason-Bonner was born to the late Andrew and Ida Jackson on August 1, 1933 in Lundale, West Virginia. She departed her life on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Judson Village Nursing Home. God called her home to suffer no more.

Juanita lived her early years in Laredo, West Virginia where she attended Buffalo High School. She loved to play baseball and chunk rocks. Juanita always protected her brothers and sisters which made them develop a bond that could never be broken. She loved them as they loved her.

Juanita moved to Huntington, West Virginia where she settled for several years before relocating to Cincinnati, Ohio. She resided in Cincinnati until her death. She had been married to her soul mate Ellis Bonner until his death in 2010. She often went back to visit West Virginia before her illness took over, loving to play Bid Whiz, Bingo and to shop.

Juanita was always outspoken and never held anything back. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. An angel gone too soon for us.

Juanita was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ellis Bonner; 2 children, Clarence Beard and Helen Jenkins; 4 siblings, Lena Whitley, Andrew Jackson Jr., Carrie Ambus and Willia Mae Harper; 1 grandson, James Perkins.

Juanita leaves to cherish her memories, 2 brothers, Jimmie Jackson (Jeanette) and Arthur James Jackson; 2 sisters, Minnie Lee Canady and Norma Jean Keith (Tony); 6 sons, Willie "Bud" Beard (Barbara), Robert Mason, Dennis Mason, Andrew Mason, Darryl Mason and Richard Mason (Tonia); 5 daughters, Rosa Fisher (Ron), Tracey Mason, Jessie Mason, Terrika Gamble (Earl) and Elizabeth Mason; 24 grandkids, Robert, Marcel, Anthony, Martha, Charlene, Dante, Amanda, Ashley, Juanita, Chris, Summer, LeRon, Ricky, Blake, Annjalik, Shayla, Shiquia, Demtrius, Dennis, David, Amber, Farrah and Brandon and a host of great-grandkids and 1 great-great granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends and a longtime friend, Ann Edmonds.
