Judith Lynne "Judy" Swim

Judith Lynne Swim, age 77, the beloved wife of Pastor Dwight Swim of Unity Bible Deaf Church in Union, KY, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 after the short illness. She was born in Flint, Michigan on February 1, 1947 to Kenneth Harold and Mary Jane (nee Shanks) Lloyd. She was well liked and loved by the deaf and hearing community. She was very active and a team player and support to her husband's ministry. She always had a smile and was talkative. She was an active member in the Kentucky Baptist Conference of the Deaf and Southern Baptist Conference of the Deaf. Judith worked for BAWAC and retired from there in 2014.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Lloyd, father, Kenneth Harold Lloyd. Judith is survived by her beloved Husband of 51 years, Dwight Swim; sister, Cindy Day, brother, Kenneth Lloyd; and a host of other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Union Baptist Church, 1985 Union School Rd, Union, KY 41091, memo Dwight Swim.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a celebration of life to follow at 1:00 pm at the Union Baptist Church, 1985 Union School RD, Union, KY 41091. Lunch will be provided afterwards.
