Judy White, a remarkable woman known for her loving nature, kindness, and generous spirit, departed this world on February 3, 2025, at the age of 76. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 13, 1948, Judy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 21 years, Al White, who stood by her side as they navigated the joys and challenges of life together. Judy was the proud mother of Jason Humbert, Erin Johnson, Stacy White, Pamela Gorman, Lori (CJ) Bounds, Jackie (Dee) Smith, and Buddy (Angie) White. Her love extended profoundly to her grandchildren: Raegan, Beckett, Katie, Austin, Summer, Jacob, Myka, Noah, Christian, Alex, Skylar, Brooklyn, and Alexa, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren, Josie and Alijah. Judy's sister, Shirley (Garry) Marshall, also mourns the loss of a sister who always had a loving word and a generous heart.
Judy was deeply passionate about her family, the pride of her life evident in every gathering where laughter resonated through the air. She embraced her blended family with open arms, creating bonds that would last a lifetime. Her cooking and baking skills were remarkable, particularly her renowned apple pie and chocolate gravy, which brought joy and comfort to all who were fortunate enough to relish her creations. A fervent fan of the Bengals, she could frequently be seen cheering on her team with heartfelt enthusiasm.
Though Judy aspired to be a writer, her true masterpiece was the life she built around her family. She had an innate ability to connect with others, never meeting a stranger and always extending a warm welcome to those around her. Her love for animals, especially her loyal dog Val, showcased her compassionate spirit and the depth of her kindness.
Judy’s journey was shaped by her parents, Edward Barrett and Patsy Barrett (nee Trowbridge), who preceded her in death. It is with heavy hearts that we honor her memory, remembering the indelible mark she left on our lives.
A visitation will be held on February 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018.
As we gather to celebrate Judy's life—her warmth, her laughter, and her boundless love—we will carry her spirit with us, cherishing the memories of a wonderful woman who enriched the lives of everyone she met. She will truly be missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's memory are suggested to Boone County Animal Care and Control.
