Julie Murdock-Russo

Julie Murdock-Russo, age 90, of Dillsboro, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 9, 1935 to Julius and Alma Hoffmann (nee Bueche).

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert "Bob" Russo.

Julie is survived by her children, Connie Murdock, Mike (Stephanie) Murdock and Jill (Ralph) Henson. She is the grandmother of Christine (Rob) Kava, Tiffany (Colby) Manning and Sophie Henson.

Julie was an Administrative Secretary, for 32 years, at the University of Cincinnati working mostly in the Personnel Department. She finished her career at UC working in the College of Pharmacy. She worked until she was 74.

She loved her family and working in her garden. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church for over 70 years. In the 70's, she was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader (Brownie Troop 787). More recently she participated in Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) and active in other parish events. She will be remembered for love of her family and for being a devout Catholic.

Visitation will be in the Gathering Space of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 3450 Lumardo Drive, Cincinnati (45238), Friday, May 2, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.
