Karen Wood

WOOD, Karen M., age 61 of Delhi Township passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 25, 1954 the daughter of the late George Crawford, Sophia Crawford and Sally Crawford. She married Michael "Mike" Wood in Dayton, Ohio on September 5, 1981.


Karen was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, George Crawford III and Patrick Crawford; and her sister, Cathy Crawford. She is survived by her beloved husband, Mike Wood; her loving children, Laura Wood and her fiancé Raymond Wanamaker and Andrew Wood; dear siblings, Sheree Robb and her husband Bennett, Louise Randall and her husband Jim, Barbara West and her husband Frelan, Robyn Mays and her husband Jeff, Joe Lagedrost and his wife Kate and Charles Crawford; her beloved cats; and many other relatives and friends.


Visitation will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211 on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral ceremony will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm with Rev. Danny Drummond of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Delhi, Ohio officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery – New.
