Kathleen Calhoun

Kathleen Calhoun, age 79 of North College Hill passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012. She was born in Cincinnati on July 17, 1933 the daughter of Robert and Catherine (Rennick) Schmid. Kathleen was a cook for the Bob Hope House and retired as a cook with the North College Hill Schools. She loved to cook and crochet afghans for all of her friends. She enjoyed taking care of her pet Chihuahua,Angel. Kathleen also enjoyed watching the Reds and the Bengals. She was married to Elmer Calhoun on March 3, 1955 in Cincinnati.

She is survived by her son, Robert Calhoun of Cincinnati; her daughter, Debora Fehrenbach and her husband Mark of Fairfield; three grandchildren, Jenny Fehrenbach of Hamilton, Scott Fehrenbach of Coshocton, Ohio, and Robert Calhoun Jr of Sandyhook, Kentucky; step-grandchildren, Tracy, Marcia, Donald, and Stephen; and several step-greatgrandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Matilda Schmid; a son, Richard Calhoun; and her husband Elmer Calhoun.

Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231, on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
