Kathlyn Joy Brooks, 82, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on March 21, 1936 to Elmer and Elsie Matherly- Brooks.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Sister, Barbara Smith.
Kathlyn is survived by her beloved children; four sons Mark Bolender, Jeff Bolender, Brian Goins, and Michael (Wanda) Brooks; one daughter Gigi Goins; one sister, Laverne (Roland) Hay; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as a host of other family members and friends all of whom will cherish her memory.
There will be a memorial service on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 6:00 pm with a visitation from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
